Welcome to Mountain Post 781 Sons of the American Legion. Things here on the mountain are starting to pick up after a very mild winter.

The biggest thing that we are planning is our annual spring chicken dinner and flea market. This will be held Sunday, May 6. Both are open to the public and we are expecting a large turnout. The flea market will be open 8:00 a.m. To 5:00 p.m. The chicken dinner will run noon till 5:00 p.m. or until we run out of chicken. This has happened before so show up early.

We are looking for flea market vendors . Cost is $5.00 w/ your table in the grass or $10.00 w/ our table under cover (there are a limited number of these and are on a first come, first served basis). Contact 570-332-5658 to reserve a spot.. Refreshments will be available for a small cost.

The chicken dinner will start at noon and the cost is $8.00. This includes 1/2 fire roasted chicken, baked potato, cole slaw and desert. This is a take out dinner, however there will be a few tables available to enjoy your dinner next to our baseball field.
