The American Legion will be collecting items to mail to our soldiers serving overseas. We are reaching out to the community for foods that the troops can take along with them when they are in the field, and miss meals or they just need a snack. Please donate the following:
- Canned fruit with zip-top lids
- Campbell's soup by the hand
- Crackers
- Chips
- Peanuts
- Candy
- Cookies
- or just any snack foods that they can take along with them, such as non-perishables.
- They also need toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Shampoos
- Body wash, and any hygiene products.
We are also in need of monetary donations for postage. I know this is a difficult time but please let's remember those who serve our country. Please bring your donations and place them in the box marked "Troop Donations" in the entranceway at the American Legion Mt Post 781, 1550 Henry Drive, Mountain Top, PA 18707.
